Job Title: Bookseller

Bookselling roles will involve working in both of our bookshops in Dalkey and Temple Bar so candidates MUST be able to travel to both locations as needed. Candidates must be available to work Saturdays, Sundays & occasional Bank Holidays.

Role Requirements
A dynamic, energetic person with a passion for books
Great customer service skills
Previous retail experience
A very good level of English
Great attention to detail and ability to problem-solve
Hours will include evening and weekend shifts
Reliable and punctual
Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
Ability to work alone and to self-motivate
Adherence to all company manual handling & safety requirements
This role is physically demanding – a good level of fitness is required

Role Responsibilities
Providing exceptional customer service in-store, and to online customers
Helping with customer inquiries and making recommendations
Ensuring stock is well merchandised to maximise sales
Using till and IT systems to process sales and place orders
Unpacking and processing of supplier deliveries
Picking, packing and posting of online orders
Opening & closing the bookshops if required
